A Letter from the President of The Woodwind
& Brasswind, Mr. Dennis Bamber:
Twenty-five years ago I opened a small teaching studio
and music boutique in the back of a barbershop. Realizing that my
students and colleagues had no convenient source for supplies, I
created a three-page flyer offering woodwind mouthpieces and accessories
and mailed it to a small mailing list. Since those humble beginnings,
we have grown to where today we publish seven different catalogs,
ship tens of thousands of musical instruments each year, and have
recently opened the most advanced and exciting retail music store
in the world.
